Our love affair with Italy just keeps on getting better. After a year of hard negotiation from both sides we are finally live, up and running with Mediaset! This signals a major step forward for us in covering the Italian market, and it’s all down to our hard work in providing a tailor made workflow that works perfectly for the broadcaster.
Mediaset is Italy’s main commercial television network, consisting of channels such as Canale 5, Italia 1 and Rete 4, and covering around 60% of the Italian broadcast market – so you can imagine our excitement! Ricardo Parravicini, Managing Director of Adstream Italy, said: “We are extremely happy that our partnership with Mediaset is finally coming into full fruition. The workflow solution we provided goes all the way and really was essential to the success of this project.”
We worked with Mediaset to establish exactly what it was they needed and expected from a system such as ours, and designed a workflow just for them. So they can now approve all their commercials online, and as a safeguard the material will only be accessible once all the transcoding work and the delivery to their system have been finished.
So it’s happy customers all round – and a happy Adstream team in Milan too!
