MEET THE NEW MD IN THE UK.

Meet the new MD in the UK. Mike Palmer.

Adstream has expanded a great deal since its inception in 2000 and with a shift of Head Office to London last year signalling a sharp focus on European and North American expansion, changes have occurred across the business, including the senior management team.

Against this exciting backdrop we are delighted to announce that Mike Palmer has been promoted to the position of Managing Director UK.

Mike has been with Adstream for over 2 years and brings an extensive knowledge of production workflow technologies, learned over 25 years experience, to the role.

The appointment of Mike to steer the UK operation is in response to the rapid growth experienced across the company over the past 18 months and acknowledges London’s pivotal role as a hub for adstream’s European operations. It is also the latest appointment that reflects the company’s philosophy of nurturing talent from within its own ranks where possible.

Operations Director, James Carpenter has been responsible for putting this philosophy into action and had this to say. “Mike is an experienced guy with a desire to share the clever things we do with the advertising industry, but he also understands that the difference between a good relationship and a great relationship depends on the way the team responds. Having observed Mike establish a first rate approach to Sales and Customer Service, designed to support the diverse range of adstream products, this appointment is the natural choice. We couldn’t be happier”.

Adstream has been active in the UK market for 4 years and during this time has built and continues to maintain, the Clearcast (formally BACC) TV approval system whilst expanding from broadcast distribution services to print and publishing solutions. This year Adstream launched WorkPath, the most comprehensive advertising workflow tool available, a clear signal that the company maintains its goal of delivering a cross media platform and all whilst maintaining a steadily increasing broadcast and print distribution and digital asset management service for over 600 UK customers.
